STEM Education

What is STEM?

STEM Education is a new student-centered approach for Experimental Learning that allows students to explore the rules of Science-Technology-Engineering and Mathematics and apply them in a hands-on way.

The Teacher’s role is limited to that of a facilitator, thus boosting students’ critical thinking and problem-solving skills in an independent way.

Students’ work is the product of their own effort and innovation so that they can develop their own understanding of how science applies in our daily life.  Through their participation and involvement in robotics, engineering and other STEM related topics, they will embody the role of the INNOVATOR while their subsequent presentation of their product and engagement to reflective discussions will further enhance their presentation, communication and social skills.

STEM lays a good foundation for active learning, boosts logical, intrapersonal and interpersonal intelligence and along with the other skills acquired (organizational, communication, cooperation, leadership) its certification will qualify students from an early start as competitive figures in their future, professional career.
