The most delicious…lessons of the year!

Our A, B and C senior Students (A1-A2 CEFR level) cooked and served delicious desserts as part of a cooking workshop that took place both in and out of class! Such workshops are highly engaging, motivating and fun to carry out while they enhance students’ life skills and knowledge. English becomes the means and not the end of this learning activity and students just love it!

Such lessons are based on the CLIL methodology (Content and Language Integrated Learning).

The Pancake Project

The students were introduced to the theme of cooking, they watched videos and learned how cuisine reflects culture. During the workshop, they had to follow the instructions of a recipe and prepare the dish carefully by communicating in English.

Cooking with kids is not just about ingredients, recipes, and cooking. It’s about harnessing imagination, empowerment, and creativity.
