“How wonderful it is to be able to write someone a letter! To feel like conveying your thoughts to a person, to sit at your desk and pick up a pen, to put your thoughts into words like this is truly marvelous.”

― Haruki Murakami, Norwegian Wood
With a christmassy touch!

Mission accomplished!

All students (Penpals 2018-2019) have shown great enthusiam during the process of writing the letters and they look forward to keeping this project going!

Summing Up

Texting, chatting and emailing have become truly indispensable but hands down, there is just something about writing a letter that cannot be replaced!

Expressing our thoughts and ideas may not be an easy task since it requires a lot of time and effort and admittedly the fast-paced mode of life we are leading has made it difficult to imagine alternatives to typing/ recording our messages.

What makes a letter special?

It is the greater deal of time and effort devoted to find the right words and draw upon our inspiration .

When writing a letter, it’s not about our convenience anymore . It’s about creating something unique and complete. This dedication is the essense of writing. It molds our thoughts into words and harnesses our spirit! Ιt makes us more skillful, patient and thoughtful writers!

Every thought is delivered in a special way with a unique handwriting and a sequence of words carefully selected, all of which reflect one’s personality and makes a real connection between sender and recipient, possible!

A glimpse into our class!

Some of our Penpals 2018-2019!

A handful of letters and handmade cards were received in return! Charming, huh?!

Special thanks to the students of the Szkola Podstawowa and their teacher and co-ordinator, Ms Anna Dela.
